Data Jelly places top priority on security, with many safeguards in place to protect our customer's data: - All data can be transferred over a secure channel, including HTTPS, FTPS, and SFTP.
- Our servers are protected by an external Cisco firewall and also configured with iptables to only allow incoming HTTP/HTTPS/SSH traffic.
- Only authorized personnel have access to servers, which is only granted for backup and maintenance purposes.
- Operating system and application fixes are applied as they become available, after extensive testing on our staging network.
- Billing information is managed securely through our billing provider (PayPal); credit cards and related sensitive data are never stored by Data Jelly
- All passwords are securely hashed within the database.
- Although Data Jelly stores historical data for debugging purposes, this can be disabled so that sensitive customer data is never retained on our servers.
