# February 2026 Platform Update | Blog | DataJelly

Happy February and thank you for supporting DataJelly. Our platform delivers clean markdown to AI crawlers while SEO bots get the fully rendered HTML. Our goal is to maximize the opportunity for AI citations and search results for your domain. Thank you for joining us.

## New Traffic Digest Email

DataJelly as a platform handles millions of bot requests every day. We want to drive more observability into the visibility service running in the background. Right now it's too hard to see what is being done for your domain.

Over the next few days we will begin to roll out the new Digest email. We will start with weekly emails for everyone. You can unsubscribe or change the frequency in your [dashboard digest settings](https://dashboard.datajelly.com/dashboard/digest-settings) .

We will start off with just bot traffic data. Later we will add other data such as uptime metrics, snapshot metrics, and more. Our goal is that you can turn on and off sections as needed.

## New Snapshot Pages View

We've added a simple [Snapshot Pages View](https://dashboard.datajelly.com/dashboard/snapshot-pages) to the dashboard to help you find and browse specific pages. This shows our "snapshot data" — the data we give to AI and search bots. It's the same data as the existing Snapshot Data page, but shown in a different, more browsable format.

## New AI Markdown Data Responses

The biggest new feature is our release of AI Markdown responses for AI bots. At a high level, we now generate clean markdown and serve this to AI bots. The impact is that DataJelly makes your site **90% cheaper** for the AI bot to crawl.

You can view the data in the dashboard:

1. Head over to [Snapshot Pages](https://dashboard.datajelly.com/dashboard/snapshot-pages)
2. Click on "View Details"
3. At the bottom of the page click "Compare Side by Side"

## Expanded SEO Tools

We continue to expand our suite of [free SEO tools](https://datajelly.com/seo-tools) . These are tools we use every day while testing and operating the platform. A few of the new ones:

- [HTTP Debug Bot Comparison](https://datajelly.com/seo-tools/http-debug) — a deeper overview of the raw data coming back, with the ability to flip between bots to test things out.
- [Site Crawler](https://datajelly.com/seo-tools/site-crawler) — crawls your site to find URLs, and you can run an HTTP check to verify every page is loading correctly.

## New Guides Available

Every month we publish new [guides](https://datajelly.com/guides) on the site to help with specific topics, explain complex services, or serve as a knowledge base. As an example, we recently added:

- [Bots: The Complete Guide](https://datajelly.com/guides/bots) — a directory of 90+ crawlers we see on the platform
- [AI Visibility Infrastructure](https://datajelly.com/guides/ai-visibility-infrastructure) — a deep dive into how the AI Markdown feature works

## Snapshot Service Performance Improvement

The snapshot service runs in the background and takes snapshots of every page on your site. This snapshot data is where we get the fully rendered HTML for SEO bots. We then take this snapshot HTML data and generate the clean markdown for AI bots.

Long story short — we made some performance improvements and it's now **25% faster**.
